Git branching for agile teams: webinar recording now available

Last week we held our first webinar on Git branching workflows for agile teams. With over 500 attendees and loads of great questions from viewers, I’d say it was a smashing success. Agile development is widely accepted as industry-standard practice, and the emergence of Git opens up the full power of branching workflows for teams that want to deliver quickly. Our aim with this webinar is to help teams understand

  • Why Git’s easy branching and merging are so complementary to agile practices
  • How prolific branching helps make releasing a non-event
  • What the workflows for SaaS and installed application teams looks like
  • Where best practices like continuous integration and peer code review fit into the picture

But wait! There’s more. We’re big on learning here. And in planning this webinar, we challenged ourselves make the broadest impact possible. That’s why we decided to offer a little reward for attending – but not a reward to the attendee, per se. We pledged a $2-per-attendee donation to Room To Read, and an additional $1 for every tweet about the webinar, using hashtag #Code4aCause.
