Matt is a Staff Software Engineer with over 12 years of experience primarily in backend technologies and large distributed systems. At Atlassian Matt is currently focusing on AI systems in the Central AI division – he is a founding member of the AI safety team and is currently working on optimised in-house inference. Prior to this Matt worked with the Media platform teams responsible for cross product media file experiences.
