Joe Thomas is the former CEO & Co-Founder of Loom, the video communication platform for async work. Following Atlassian’s acquisition of Loom in November 2023, Joe is now a Product Management leader at Atlassian and still leads Loom in its mission to empower effective communication, wherever work happens.

While leading Loom, Thomas has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Forbes Cloud 100, and America’s Best Startup Employers. He lives with his family in Atlanta.

Atlassian welcomes the Rewatch team to bring AI-powered meeting recording to Loom

We are welcoming Rewatch to the Atlassian family. Rewatch, a platform that uses AI to optimize virtual meetings, will be integrated with Loom. Once this integration is complete, customers will be able to deploy an AI-powered meeting assistant in their virtual meetings to automatically record the meeting, take detailed notes, extract action items, and send follow-ups to meeting attendees.
