Tweet your Confluence wiki tips – we'll publish them in our documentation

Do you have some cool hints about Confluence wiki that you’d like to share with the world? How about seeing your tips appear on a page in the Atlassian documentation? Just tweet with #ConfluenceTips.

TipsViaTwitter.png We’d love to see your tips about using Confluence. All those lesser-known goodies from the nooks and crannies of the wiki, or the much-loved features you use the most. So we’re starting something new: A page in the Confluence documentation called Tips via Twitter, that displays a live Twitter stream. It will pick up tweets containing the word “ConfluenceTips” or “#ConfluenceTips”.

Want to add a Confluence tip right now? Click this Twitter link and replace the words “My tip” with your hint about Confluence. Then go to the Tips via Twitter page and see your tip appear there. If you prefer, you can view the search in Twitter itself.

What’s next?

We’re keen to see how this experiment works out. I mentioned the idea in my presentation at Atlassian Summit 2010. Now it’s live! Let us know what you think by commenting on this blog post. And tweet tips to your heart’s content.

If people like the idea, we’ll kick off tips via Twitter for Jira too.
