Speakeasy has finally found it’s way into Bamboo, and what better thing to do with Speakeasy than making your build results a whole lot more fun and implementing one of the most popular Jenkins plugins in a few, short minutes.
Nobody messes with Chuck Norris
Keep that in mind with your next commit… you don’t want to make Chuck angry. With the Chuck Norris Speakeasy extension enabled, Chuck will tell you how he feels about your build. Break it… and he’s gonna be real pissed. Apart from Chuck’s mood, the plugin also displays random Chuck Norris quotes from Twitter for your entertainment.

Use the code as a simple example to get started with your own extension or just download and install the Chuck Norris extension.
Write your own Extension
Write your own Speakeasy extension and compete in this years Codegeist. There are still 3 weeks left in the competition, which should give you enough time to take a shot at the grand price of $15.000.
Here is how:
- Download Bamboo 3.1-m4 from our EAP page
- Download the Speakeasy plugin
- Install the plugin in Bamboo (or use the Plugin Manager in the Administration section under System>Plugins)
- Access the Extensions UI via the “Profile” link in the header
