Chatting with Bamboo

Mark Chaimungkalanont, lead developer on Bamboo, is going to be discussing our newest product on Thursday (you’re invited!), but he gave us San Francisco Atlassians a preview of it last Friday. I had seen some of it while the product was still in beta, but I hadn’t seen the latest version which includes a very cool feature for notifying users about a build’s status.
There are several options for notifications, one of them is instant messaging, ie, Bamboo will notify you via IM when a build breaks. That’s nice, but what’s even cooler is that you can reply in plain English back to the server to label the build result. Here’s a great video demonstrating how this works. Check it out, it’s really quite cool.
