We’re excited to announce the availability of Stash 3.7 – our first official feature release of 2015. Stash 3.6, which released earlier this year, was primarily bug fixes and improvements. We also announced the general availability of Stash Data Center last week. This year is off to a great start.
Here’s a summary of all the amazing new features in 3.7:
Capture more information during merge
A number of you told us that you’d like to customize the pull request merge commit message, especially those using a squash based workflow. In Stash, you can now enter additional information at merge time that isn’t covered by the standard merge message.
Respond quickly to likes and comments
Collaborating on code needs to be a quick and seamless process. We noticed some gaps in expressing support and responding quickly to feedback after we added batch notifications and comment likes last year. We’re improving the feedback experience by adding email notifications for comment likes and providing the ability to reply or like a comment directly from the email notification.
Extend batch notifications the way you want
Plugins can now add custom sections and comment actions to pull request notifications. Extend email notifications the way you want using the new APIs.
