Atlassian wins Aussie Exporter of the Year and Deloitte Fast 50

atlassian-recent-awards.pngLast month, Atlassian was named a New South Wales Exporter of the Year, and at the ceremonies the other night, Atlassian was named the winner in the Ernst and Young Information and Communication Technology category. The Export Awards celebrated Australia’s best exporters by commending them for their achievements and commitment to success in overseas markets.

I’m not sure what’s more awesome: winning the award, or watching Atlassian’s co-founder and CEO, Scott Farquhar, accepting the award while sporting a blue Mohawk. Joining him on stage (sans Mohawk or Movember Mo’) was Mike Cannon-Brookes, Atlassian’s other co-founder and CEO.

In addition the Exporter awards, Atlassian has once again earned a top spot on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2010, which recognizes the company for a stellar annual revenue growth for the sixth consecutive year. Atlassian also earned a prestigious Deloitte Leadership Award as one of only six companies to achieve revenues in excess of $50 million for the year.
