1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime? Crazy right. What about the fact that 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and 1 in 3 women will be. Nuts, I know. How about that four times as many men commit suicide compared with women. So, so sad 🙁
These are just a few many reasons why a record number of Atlassian’s are growing a moustache throughout the month of November to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues.
100 Moustaches Can Make a Difference
In 2010 we had more Mo Bro’s than ever before growing a stache to raise awareness and money for men’s health issues. Thanks to a brave offer from our Co-Founder, Scott Farquhar, we raised over $45,000! Just one year on, we’ve almost tripled our participation rate with a record 100 Mo Bro’s across our Sydney, San Francisco, and Amsterdam offices.
Fundraising for Great Causes
With over US $8,000 raised to-date, we’re well on-track to raise more money than ever before in support of some inspiring local initiatives in Sydney, San Francisco, and Amsterdam. All donations will be matched thanks to the Atlassian Foundation.
